The Pearson Range
A tear drop-style set-up, based on a design by Dr. Temple Grandin. The outer sides are solid sheeted; the inner ones see-through, to help pull the followers through into the Forcing Pen.
A Full System with Squeeze Crush with Manual Head Gate and Sloped Bottom Crash Gate, Vet Gates, 15’3” Adjustable Alley and Forcing Pen.
Adjustable Alley (30″ to 16″) long (15`3″) or short (8`7″)
Stop calves turning. Step up onto Catwalks for better viewing / pour-on worming.
The Alley width can be adjusted using a screw jack to stop calves turning round. A no-back bar prevents cattle from backing out. Its height can be adjusted and is best set to 6” below the top of the tail head of the beasts being handled. Catwalks running almost the full length of the Alley come as standard and are welded on. An additional aluminium Tail Gate (like that on the Squeeze Crush) is also available for the back of the Alley, to control the flow of cattle entering, which can be operated from the front of the Squeeze Crush. For customers purchasing a hydraulic Squeeze Crush (Stetson or Raging Bull), an optional upgrade also makes the Alley hydraulic. Furthermore, a short Weigh Alley is an excellent way of weighing cattle.
Short alley for those short of space.
Open to 30”.
Closed to 16”.

Forcing Pen
Weighs 1.1 tonnes. Fully welded. Thump it with your fist and there’s a dull thud, not a tinny clang. No plastic (which distorts with heat and cold); no tin or pop riveting.
The Forcing Pen can be set up with the sweep gate swinging off the left or the right hand side. The solid sides keep the cattle calm and Catwalks are available to make viewing easier. All pieces can be flat-packed inside the Alley for easy transportation. A No-Corner Gate is also available to stop the last beast facing the wrong way. A 90-degree adapter kit is also available to bring the Forcing Pen round a corner in a shed, or extra Forcing Pen Sections (to take it to 4, 5 or 6 Sections). The ideal set-up, however, is in a straight line, as shown in the section on Lay-Outs, Weights and Measurements.
Vertical spars at 20” intervals on the inside surfaces of all side panels allow the gate to be pushed forwards, but prevent the cattle from forcing it back; Catwalks available all round.
